About Elizabeth Hart

My Background

I am a recent graduate of James Madison University's School of Media Arts and Design, where I concentrated in Journalism. I also minored in History & English.

In my time at JMU, I have been able to take a lot of classes in many different disciplines. I am primarily a writer, but I have also taken classes in broadcast journalism and feature magazine production, which have allowed me to broaden my horizons beyond the written word.

In my time at JMU, I have been able to write for the school newspaper, The Breeze. My expertise includes researching and inquiring about student housing and environmental efforts on and off campus. I have also written about international employment law during an internship in the spring of 2023, where I was located in London, UK.

I am adept at Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I am also knowledgeable in Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides. I have extensive knowledge of AP style and have been published in multiple publications.

In addition to my native English tongue, I am conversational in Italian and have a limited vocabulary in Spanish.
